Day One of therapy at Euro-Peds!!
Our therapist this year is Mel. Emily was so excited to be reunited with Mel and show everyone how much she's grown since last year. After showing off our muscles and handing out hugs we started the session with spa time including heating packs, massage, and stretches. Emily was sharing her DVDs with Mel. She didn't really have a free hand so she was forced to get creative!
We found out our aide this year is a boy!!! The famous Roberto you met in last year's blog gets to be with Em her entire time here. We couldn't be more excited. There was much flirting done today :)
We worked on tall kneeling, crawling, standing balance on one leg, peanut ball, and finished things off with a bike ride date with Mr. Roberto. It was a very fun day but it definitely caught up with Em as we left Euro-Peds. She was exhausted from her busy first day of hard work. She took a nap AND went to bed early! Getting all rested up for another fun day tomorrow!
